Spring Lake offers our Members many great additional facilities and activities to enjoy throughout the year.
Bathing Beach
Spring Lake has the most unique swim facilities in the state of Illinois. Our man-made, zero-depth swim beach is supplied with fresh spring water all the way from Lake Superior. Great for a relaxing float on your raft with plenty of space for yourself.
The kids love building sandcastles, sliding down “Big Blue,” bouncing on the floating trampoline or doing cannonballs off the floating or stationary docks. Pair that with a game of White-Sand Volleyball, lunch, or treats from the 19th Hole Grill, and drinks from the 19th Hole Bar, then you have the perfect summer day for the whole family.
The Spring Lake Bathing Beach is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.
Tennis & Pickleball
Our 2 courts can be used by our members for a game of Tennis or the ever-popular Pickleball. Summer clinics for adults & children, as well as Drop-in matches, are a frequent occurrence from Spring to Fall.
Fishing Pond
Spring Lake Members and guests are welcome to use our fully-stocked Catch & Release Fishing area anytime. Guests must be accompanied by a member. While enjoying all that nature has to offer around the pond, do a little bird watching. Our resident blue heron, hawks, geese, and sometimes eagles will be fishing right along with you!
Locker & Club Rooms
The lower level of the clubhouse is where you will find our men’s and ladies’ locker rooms with restrooms and showers. Lockers can be rented for $25 per year and are complimentary to our owning members. The Club Room is the dining area attached to the 19th Hole Grill & Bar which serves golfers and swimmers a quick bite to eat or course and pool beverages.
Social & Family Life
The thing that our members like the most about Spring Lake is the sense of camaraderie. Friends, neighbors and family make SLCC a hub for all ages and tastes. Live entertainment is scheduled many times throughout the year and our holiday celebrations are unmatched.
